International Media Network (IMN) today debuted the official trailer for Johnny Puff: Secret Mission, the indie CG family comedy starring Johnny Depp in the titular role. Produced by Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment, the pic was sold to IMN for U.S. distribution by Italy-based agency Iuvit at the European Film Marketearlier this year.

In the ecology and recycling-themed tale, Johnny Puff (Depp) and his puffin pals Tic, Tac, Didi and Pete team up for a secret mission that will save their community of Taigaville from the latest frosty schemes of the megalomaniacal mastermind, Otto Von Walrus. Based on the series Puffins (streaming on Apple TV+), itself a spin-off of Arctic Dogs (2019), the movie also features the voice of Drew Crosby.

Johnny Puff: Secret Mission is written and directed by Néstor F. Dennis (Cortafuegos, El Signo). Dennis also produces alongside Cristobal Rodriguez at Melies Producciones, in participation with U.S. companies WWPS and Evolution.
